If you love planning your own Disney vacations you might wonder why using a travel agent would benefit you. I have been advertising my services to “do everything” for my clients’ trips, but it dawned on me that for some people that might not be a selling point at all. For those of you who have planned your own trips, love obsessing over the itinerary, and have a good system down – first of all are we related? – secondly, I believe two heads in these situations are better than one, so let’s obsess together!

Below is a list of reasons why you should still book your next Disney vacation through me even if you have a type A personality and already have a plan of attack for your trip.

SO MANY DETAILS – The sheer number of details when planning a trip to Disney is astounding. Having a second person check your work has always been a good method, so why not implement that same strategy when spending thousands of dollars on a family vacation that you want to be successful? By having me on your side we can collectively talk over all the details, you can bounce different itinerary ideas off me, ask about new events happening at the parks, or have me arrange various aspects of the trip that you might not have the time to do yourself.

GETTING UP AT 5:45am – To some people this is a perfectly normal time to wake up, but for even some of the most motivated Disney vacation goers this can be brutal. If you want to plan all of your meals and FastPass selections that is great, but if you book through me you have the option of handing off this early morning task when it gets to 180 days out for Advanced Dining Reservations or 60 days out for FastPass selections.

I AM “IN THE KNOW” – You might be going on a trip to Disney months from now and will do some research here and there about new attractions or events happening at the parks, but I’m involved in hearing about Disney on a daily basis. I know when new and exciting things are happening, when promotions have come out, special ticketed events, and will constantly look to see if I can save you money on your trip.

YOU ARE PAYING FOR IT ANYWAY – Disney builds payment to travel agents into the price of the rooms, so whether or not you book through an agent, you’re still paying for one. Why not get the full benefits of having someone go over your vacation details and help with making sure all of your ducks are in a row?  If you are on vacation and encounter a problem it is disheartening to waste precious time getting it fixed.  Booking through me allows the peace of mind if something goes wrong you have me to help fix the issue.

Last but not least…

I LOVE TO OBSESS OVER DISNEY – Do you want to talk about the various character dining options or which pavilion in Epcot you’ll enjoy the most? Do you want to go over the extra magic hours and discuss your itinerary? Do you want to obsess about your trip and no one else in your life wants to talk about it every day? Well guess what – I do! You are more than welcome to plan your entire trip yourself and I can be here to help you as much or as little as you need. If you need something done that you don’t have either the time or patience for, that’s where I come in.

Planning Disney itineraries for my clients brings me joy and I love hearing about how much fun they had and seeing their pictures. Some people might not think this is normal, but hey, normal is overrated. I prefer being MAGICAL 🙂
