While planning your Disney vacation you might be scratching your head when asked if you want the the Memory Maker. The Memory Maker allows you to prepay for all the pictures you will take while you are in Disney World. After returning from your vacation you download the pictures to your computer and they are yours to keep.
Disney has professional photographers all over the parks. They wear khaki vests and have a camera around their necks! There are photographers at character meet and greets and you also get pictures on select rides throughout the parks.
Here are some examples of Memory Maker:
Main Street in Magic Kingdom:
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train:
Splash Mountain:
Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster in Hollywood Studios:
Animal Kingdom:
Epcot:
Character meet and greets:
Sometimes they have photographers around the hotels:
If you do not purchase Memory Maker ahead of time for $169 you can still get the pictures after your vacation, but you will have to pay for them a la carte. This can start getting expensive if you realize that you want to buy a lot of pictures.
The only guests I really don’t push to get Memory Maker are those who are taking a quick hitter trip for a day or two and plan to go back for a longer vacation in the future. Otherwise, I really think Memory Maker is a great way to remember your vacation and not have the hassle of taking all the pictures yourself.
